In our ongoing endeavor to provide services of the highest professional quality, LSIS employs the latest technology available to our industry. We have access to numerous resources and databases for skip-tracing and retrieving background information.
Our SUBROSA team utilizes state-of-the-art surveillance equipment and electronics for evidentiary purposes, used in conjunction with our detailed, comprehensive reports in support of your litigated matter.

The plaintiff suffered a serious neck and back spinal injury. After a corrective surgical procedure, the plaintiff sued the doctors for Medical Malpractice (7 figures), stating he was unable to get out of bed without the assistance of his wife and was immobile without the use of a walker.
The plaintiff was observed on multiple occasions to be physically mobile, driving a vehicle, and active without the use of a walker, cane, or assistance of another person.
Throughout the investigation, the plaintiff was observed reaching, extending, lifting objects, loading a bicycle in and out of his vehicle, engaged as a soccer referee, and even joined a hiking club where he wore a water bladder while traversing dirt trails. The subject routinely demonstrated strength, mobility, and dexterity.
Based on the evidence garnered throughout the investigation, the case was settled without payment to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff and his wife were injured in an auto accident involving the delivery truck for a large company. The wife settled her case in the high 6 figures, the week before LSIS was contracted on the case. The husband was demanding $2 million in compensation for allegedly losing his business due to his head, neck, back, and soft tissue injury.
Our investigation revealed the plaintiff would walk outside his residence with a cane, look around, then return to his residence. Shortly after, the plaintiff would carry out golf clubs and proceed in his vehicle to a golf course with his wife.
Our investigator brought his golf clubs, his camera, and a tripod to the driving range, then video recorded the plaintiff and his recently "injured" wife hitting golf balls for a couple of hours. Both the husband and wife demonstrated strength, mobility, and dexterity with a full range of motion.
Our investigation limited the carrier's liability to the plaintiff's medical expenses. The only regret the carrier had was NOT hiring LSIS more quickly due to the large settlement for the wife.

The Claimant allegedly suffered from an unobserved slip & fall injury off a warehouse dock.
Our investigation revealed, utilizing covert cameras, that the Claimant was working under the table for a Vending Truck company while he was being paid workers' compensation benefits to stay home and rehabilitate.
The Claimant worked at the industrial shaved ice machine, shoveling ice into 70-pound bags. After filling and loading roughly 16 bags on a dolly, he would take them to a freezer room for storage, then return to the ice machine and repeat the process.
The Claimant demonstrated strength, mobility, and dexterity with a full range of motion. His claim & benefits were immediately contested based on the reports and video-recorded evidence that covered several weeks of surveillance.
"You did a fabulous job for us, and your professionalism will always be greatly appreciated.
Your P.I. work was the reason that this case was dismissed without any payment to (plaintiff)."

Our client was severely injured when a new ATV caught fire. Our extensive investigation on the product, product history, recalls, internet documentation, etc., gave the law firm the evidence needed to settle for just under 8 figures.

Witness interviews can be very delicate in nature, requiring a sensitive but direct approach. Once we conduct a witness interview, we generate a declaration to be reviewed & signed by the witness.

Our comprehensive background investigations can help you make informed decisions regarding the defendant, witnesses, and sometimes even our own client.
Possessing the investigative and technical skill to recreate an eyewitness perspective gives the law firm and court the opportunity to see what a witness may or may not have been able to see from their perspective in the form of depth-of-field appropriate DSLR photographs.

When an attorney service fails, we frequently handle locating and serving difficult witnesses and defendants. Our Proof of Service is accompanied by a photograph of the party served. In extreme cases, we provide a declaration of due diligence in support of Service by Publication.
